Right after the American Music Awards Bitchey Spears got her Star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame. Yes u are reading this RIGHT!!! wazup with that Y'all.

Prince has been in the bussiness 4 25years and they give the Star 2 a chick that can't even SING!!!! ALL my Prince FANS that went 2 the Concerts and that have been supporting him throughtout his whole entry careere I want 2 say THANK U!! But we need 2 do something about this. Yes although he has been inductee into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame what about a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame It's been LONG overdue.

As I quote from Prince "We don't lip-sync, We have real music 4 real musicians" I want all y'all out there 2 think about that quote that Prince said. When anybody that has been in the bussiness 4 25 years and can make Jokes about Britney Spears That let's u know that the P man is on FIREYA!!!

There are two primary reasons that Prince has never gotten a star on the Walk of Fame:

1) It costs $15,000 to cover the costs of the ceremony

2) The celebrity must agree to appear at the unveiling

Y'all know Prince ain't EVER going to un-ass $15,000 to a "committee" for an award. And, hell, half the time he won't show up to collect awards when they give them gratis!

I don't see this happening anytime soon.

the day Prince gets a star on the Hollywood Walk of fame is the day his career is really over. That thing is littered with has-beens and never-weres.

It's more of a PR thing than an award of merit, from all what I've seen.

There was already a fan effort in the early 90's to get him a Star on the Walk 'O' Fame. They even raised money. I think it was only $5.000 dollars at the time. It was nixed by both sides. Prince heard about it and decided okay but only if they did not use his name. But the . They refused stating it had to be a written name, as in letters. "Prince" He then ignored them and nothing ever happened. So he's been there done that. It could happen one day. Not likely in the near future though.

The industry has always been intimidated, jealous and in awe of the man (in no particular order). Why do you think today's so-called artists beat down his door, asking for the rights to sample his music (don't let seeing P. Diddy at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Chris Rock and them fool ya! He's the main one!)? Does anybody remember Ja Rule asking to sample a Prince cut for one of his own songs? The talented ones do, anyway.

Not that the star is unimportant, I think the masses rediscovering Prince by BUYING Musicology and spinnin' it at parties and on the urban radio is the ticket. You know the urban stations have this thing about playing anything with an electric guitar...they don't! Unless it's the Isley Bros.

They raised enough money too. It just never happened. Prince was going thru alot of personal and professional stuff. It was not the right time.
