I downloaded it last night because I coudlnt wait until the simulcast to hear it. I got the CD-R promo copy tonight...and I'll buy the full release on April 20th.

You just know Prince knew full well that all his hardcore fans would be buying the album in stores despite having it downloaded off his site already.

So now he gets profits from his loyal fanbase buying the CD AND downloading it off npgmc.

That's not even to mention the thousands of ppl hearing the new album who otherwise might not have bothered with it.

Maybe the little guy really ain't as dumb a businessman as I thought.

yes i WAS going to wait until the 20th to get cd but i couldn't wait and caved so i joined the club and downloaded the tracks (great album by btw) but i'll still buy it when it comes out

If there's additional music i will, which it doesn't sound like there is except for Silence after Reflection.

I ain't so bothered about inlay and all that. S'all about the music.

Though once i've burned my cd, if the quality's noticeably shite to me (I know strictly it is a lot worse than a retail CD, but i may not notice) then i'll probably buy again. More sucker me.

I prefer to have a proper cd with artwork and lyrics etc so I will be picking up a copy with some gift vouchers I have laying around.

Still hoping for some extended versions on the CD release though....

I downloaded it and will buy the retail release too.

I'm hoping that the retail one will have extended versions or an extra track but I'm not expecting it.

Best thing would probably be to make my own EP from it, using the "U Want Me" studio version I somehow laid my hands on.

Word of advice if ya still thinkin' of downloadin' it DO NOT download it if it's in capital letters OTC wuz like this on my Kazaa list 'ON THE COUCH' - PRINCEI'm tellin' ya dun get NE of'em if they in capital lettas those da 1s that dun work. Just w8 'til it comes 2 stores or eitha download it from walmart.com 4 $10.00 in tax.
