If this is truly going to be Prince's year, then he needs a strong radio hit. Has anyone yet heard "Musicology" on the radio? (I've seen the video 3 times and hoping that the video will encourage listeners to pick up the single...and album.)

I dont really listen to the radio much but I heard it yesterday in Heron Frozen Food shop ,quite surreal.

the video was just on MTV Europe
i couldn't believe my eyes
it said 'Prince: Musicology'

it had a special label at the bottom right corner, saying 'must see' or something - might be he is even on a special playlist

NO, you're not the only one. They have been playing him on 93.1 in Cleveland but every time they announce it, I'm always on my way out of the car before they actually play it.

Earlier today, I decided to see if the radio station here in Yuma, Arizona had the song or not, so I called the station and asked if they had it and the DJ said "Yeah, you wanna hear it?" I said told him yeah. After they played Sheryl Crow and Usher's new song, the DJ announced that Prince had a new song and album called Musicology and he played it right there and then. It was very surreal, I didn't realize how long it had been since hearing a New Prince song but it felt so good.

We need to call our local radio stations and request this song. If they don't have it, I'd go to Sony and see if they could put it in the radio station you want it played in. We can get this song played, all we have to do is call the stations, so to the one who started the post, call your radio station.

Another reason why some may not have heard the song is because it's not on a lot of the stations playlist yet. I checked out NYC and L.A. and unless they haven't updated the their sites, it's not on their list. Like I said before, we have to call the stations and or Sony to get the song heard. That's the bottom line.
