Who does Prince credit as the founders of Musicology?

Whassssup ya'll,

I'm new here... just wanted to give a shout out to all the P peeps from all ova the world. I'm all the way down under in Aussieland. We just had the privilage of watching the Godfather of Soul, James perform last weekend!! He truly is the Godfather...

Anyway, Musicology been in heavy rotation in my car, and I was trying to pick out the artists that Prince credits on the song Musicology... this is what I got so far:

Let's Groove, September- Earth, Wind and Fire
Hot Pants- James Brown
Higher- Sly and the Family Stone
Jam Master Jay

Did I miss some1 out... I was watchin this Earth, Wind and Fire DVD the other day... I think it's called Requests Live on VH1 or something... and damn Phillip Bailey is the bomb.. I always knew the brotha was good... but he's got a real similar falsetto tone to Prince. Check it out if U can..

Also for all ya'll Aussie peeps the Musicology official CD store release is April 26 at Sanity. Checked it out yesterday... in the end ended up leaving with Usher's Confessions. Must say... it's one of my favourite albums from him. He is venturing into his falsetto range much more.. dare I say the Prince in him is coming out razz

OneLove
Shaun

There is no certainty in it, but it is possible that the second line of the song refers to Doug E. Fresh, as in 'Doug E.'s gonna be there.'

.
ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.
