Your favourite Prince tour.... Mine would be the "Damonds and pearls" tour! That was the very first concert I went to! (followed by Michael Jacksons "Dangerous" tour)
I loved the choreography by the 3 dancers (Tony, kirk,Damon) and of course I fancied Diamond and Pearl (and Mayte for that matter)! I was only 7 and I thought everyones tours were as good and slick as this. I later found out how wrong I was! I even preferred this to MJ's "Dangerous" tour I saw (just!) and I love MJ as well as Prince! I've seen quite alot of people live and the D and P tour was WAY MORE entertaining then anyones concerts! Not since have I seen a Prince tour so slick, where EVERYONE on stage works theit ass off! The original NPG had members u could easily reckognise and that was a big group so it was hard to remember anyone at all, but you did anyway because of the way they all came across on stage! Me being a big fan of dancing made me love the tour (also I loved the album)! I have not been to ANY of his other tours but I have sen all the officail tour vids and various pirate videos and by far D and P was the most exiting tour Prince ever did! I wish he would've released an official video of this our (not the crap RAVE party on new years eve '99-2000) His later tours lack any real good to watch dancers, and me being a big dance fan, really dissapointed me!

Oh that's an easy question to answer.
Hands down, the birthday show in Detroit at Cobo Hall in 1986. That show was freaking amazing. http://www.facebook.com/p...111?ref=ts

D & P was my first Prince concert too. And the gig i went to in Manchester had The Pasadenas as support - and i frickin loved that. And the whole Insatiable thing with the chains. And of the two songs previewed at the gig, the performance of Damn U was just beautiful. I don't have the boot, but i remember being mesmerised. If i'm honest, i think the best i've actually been to was the London Apollo One Night Alone - if nothing else because there was a soundcheck and the music was tight. The overall package was better than the previous arena tours i'd seen, even if i did miss the dancing a bit. [This message was edited Fri Apr 2 8:13:28 2004 by TheFrog]

sometimes u're sounding a tad too predictable and dishonest sorry. 1) nobody has mentioned that you actually had to be at the tour(s) which you pick as your favorite, now did they? 2) . you just started up on this site and here you are callin folks "dishonest" and everything. you don't know me and i surely don't know you. get to know a person before you jump off at the mouth. damn, i can't stand it when newbies think they know folks straightaway.

What kind of sociopath is "dishonest" about what Prince tour they liked? I REALLY liked Lovesexy, but I'm gonna fool them all and say....Dirty Mind! Bwaaahahahahaha! Whatever, dude. Man, I'm not a huge Larry Graham fan, but the show that Prince and Larry put on at the Capital Ballroom (Washington, DC) in '98 was the one for me! small club, stripped down, no theatrical gimmicks,no Top 40 Hit songs, just musicians trading licks! On the first number (Come On), Larry, Rhonda , and Prince all came on playing the Bass! Crowd lost their mind!
