PUMP THE BASS UP PLEASE!!! these 2 trax r MEGA FONKEE! ***"What Do U Want Me 2 Do" and ***"Dear Mr Man" on that lite jazzy tip, very 
3 ROCK tracks... ***"Cinammon Girl" ***"The Marrying Kind" and ***"A Million Days" - all very good. The mid-tempo ***"If I Was The Man In Ur Life"...creepy - 
2 typical PRINCE/seduction ballads... ***"Call My Name" and ***"On The Couch" Acoustic cut ***"Reflection" closes the abbott nicely. THE MAN is BACK!!! RonnyRon"GoldCoastPimp"...

I think "MUSICOLOGY" "ILLUSION, COMA, PIMP & CIRCUMSTANCE" and "LIFE O' THE PARTY" work better as a funk suite trilogy of sorts. followed by "What Do U Want Me 2 Do" then a ROCK suite trilogy "A MILLION DAYS" "CINAMMON GIRL" and "THE MARRYING KIND" leaving the midtempo grooves and ballads til the end, just my opinion tho'... I love Musicology!
My favorite tracks are Musicology, Life O' The Party (FREAKY FUNK with Candy on vocals!), If I Was The Man In Your Life and On The Couch (great D'Angelo 'Untitled' tribute). The FUNK is back and I hope it's going mainstream to show the world there's nothing to be ashamed of! | |
