Prince and iTunes Can we influence Prince to consider doing something like this with Musicology?
This would be a great way for Prince to market to iPod masses and make the music avaialble in an easily downloadle form (with copyright protection). Also allows for burning to cd... Perhaps a topic for the U tell us section of the Music club... CLAPTON USES APPLE ERIC CLAPTON has released a four track EP today, previewing his forthcoming album dedicated to the legendary bluesman ROBERT JOHNSON. The guitarist is putting out the sampler for 'Me And Mr Johnson' through Apple's iTunes Music Store and will include the tracks 'When You Got A Good Friend, 'Come On In My Kitchen', 'Milkcow Calf Blues' and 'If I Had Possession Over Judgement Day'. The full 14-track album will be released on March 22.

I use iTunes, and although I agree with your advice, I wouldn't buy the whole album through iTunes. I'd just buy the CD and rip the tracks . . .
As for the 77-cent downloads, yes, I would buy those through iTunes in a second. I've had nothing but great service and great sound through iTunes. Maybe Prince will put his music through that too, but maybe at 99-cents for non-members . . . Can't wait to see what happens!
