70's are back?! So a lot of post think, including myself, that JB's 70's stuff is outdated...but what happens when the trend this year is 70's and P did a 70's album...like that stuff I heard it seems so....then he would be No.1 in the bank and all that neo-soul would be outdatet pronto...Lenny Kravitz is doing roots music...listen to his new track at his homepage...do it....and who else it doing it?
There will be a Purple House cover in near future....60's or 70's stuff. These a just some thoughts that came to my head while reading the Threads over here.... Peace Juize

Don't know about the states, but in Europe the '70s fad was in fashion years ago. Currently, the '80s are all the rage, certainly at the fashion shows I've been attending - with '80s music blaring while the models went catwalking in '80s-inspired designs. FREE THE 29 MAY 1993 COME CONFIGURATION!

Yeah it's the 80's that are back. Jeez just go check out the shoes and fashions for sale at the department stores and you will think it's actually the 1980's. The 70's trend was like 5 years or more.

i still prefer the 70s, except for music (& i do like 70s music, just that the 80s are my generation)...
the new 80s fashion i see here in france looks like crappy rejects of weird stuff i wore as a teenager. my good REAL 70s vintage still looks fresher in comparison. i have picked up some real 80s vintage georges rech & dior & other designers - smart $ knows that nobody's leapin on that stuff (becuz no fool MTV celebrity has done it yet, i guess). but hearing musicology did make me want to drag out the EW&F & run-dmc & the other OS stuff... which i haven't listened to in a while.
