I know this would probably never happen. I've always been a fan of Prince's covers of other peoples songs. To me, it seems how much greater their great song coulda been if they had only done it this way. Espicially live. I think the RRHOF should "employ" Prince to do one or two live covers of one or two of the inductees of that year, just to make sure there is at least one good performance.
I guess this is just my way of getting Prince doing more covers. Imagine him rocking out a ZZ Top tune or see who woulda been clapping when he played guitar on Honky Tonk Woman. I think Prince would get a kick out of it to. Hell, if anything, he would get stage time, which I know he adores.
