Aww, I would LOVE a new movie ! I only just saw the three of them within the last year, so with the magic fresh in my veins, imagining a new Prince movie is...euphoric.
The possibilities are endless. They could either follow-up the PR & GB universe, and just not acknowledge that everybody's aged ten or twenty years since the most recent installment. Or the movie could be about the fun-loving, still-fresh The Time trying to convince a new, no-nonsense, mature Prince who now has a strong affinity for good values, to just let loose and make another movie, since they would need his funding and production. When push comes to shove, The Time must begin forcing their way into opening act for the Musicology tour, and crashing the aftershows, before Prince will finally begin negotiating. The last half will document the production. It'll kinda be like a movie about a movie being made. OR the movie could be an artsy drama regarding everyone's favorite, rotund, booty-shakin'-on-the-Tonight-Show-Performance-last month, keyboard player, Chance ! The subtle, nuanced film could chronicle Chance in his own inner-struggle between his newfound place in the NPG band, and his position in The Time. Will Chance have to face Morris, or answer to Prince? ...or must he confront his own personal demons to discover the true path...? Coming soon... a film legend of it's own time... a grandiose adventure beyond belief... ... a funky, Faustian fable of pomp and circumstance.... When friendships are threatened.... ...love4oneanother doesn't stand a Chance... ... "Time 2 Funk: Ghost of a Chance" In theaters this Spring. | |
