Very strange feeling... can't fight it... I must pay..... must get out credit card and charge..... $77 for..... after..... show....club...gig..... Awww hell who am I kidding? For some strange reason, I'd rather pay $77 (or more) to see Prince "In the round". I don't know why, I can't explain it. But I'd rather spend my money on a good old rehearsed tour de force like "Musicology" then an impromptu aftershow. Maybe it was the bad taste $140.00 at the Palladium, back in 94, left in my mouth. Or maybe it was all those aftershows throughout the late 90's featuring over 90 mns of Sly & The family Stone songs? Who knows, but I'll see Prince this summer "In The Round". Been to all his club shows in NY 1988 Roseland where He did Little Red Corvette and I died, he did The World,He did Roseland again,he did Sob's he did WWF. Always been worth it...Prince is gonna Rock! Party on Down.....With the Party Man!!!! | |

Probably a good idea. I've been nothing but burned at these NYC small gigs. I was disappointed every time. Go for the big shows. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

He did WWF? What year? April 9, 2002 at WWF's "The World" Nightclub after his Lincoln Center, NY ONA ahow. Part of this WWF show was released on the "It Ain't Over" cd from the ONA box set. | |
