So how much is Prince in your every day life? It comes and goes, like a karma chameleon. Sometimes Prince is all I listen to for long stretches, sometimes I go so long without listening to the man that I start to wonder why I even still own the CDs. Sometimes I burn out on the music, sometimes I get disgusted with the man, but the damn music's like a boomerang, I tells ya...

I don't "make time" to listen to any specific Prince stuff, if that's whatcha mean. It's either background music or stuff I listen to on the way to work.

Can't stop listening to the live. At this exact moment, it's a "Sign o the Times" show, but "Parade" in Stockholm and "1999" in Detroit have been on heavy rotation for a couple of months.

Last question: How do you feel about the Public Prince? Not sure. I grapple with this one a lot, and I always have. Sometimes the public Prince really frustrates, but overall I find it rather amusing. Ultimately, I have to say I respect his ability to create his own reality.
