Is the full version of the War circulating & were u there the nite it was recorded ? The War is really one of my favorite Prince album, & i was wondering: since the released version has 20 minutes edited from it, has the original jam surfaced as a boot or is it completely unheard ?
Has someone here been 2 the concert it was played in ? If it was the case how was it ? I guess P was in a particular mood this nite... I'd like sooooo much 2 hear the full version: even without all the overdubs it must b so great... | |

Trust me you wouldn't want to hear the rest. It was an additional 25 minutes of the loop with Prince backstage and the band members coming and going from the stage. People were leaving because it was so boring.

On an Album? Am I missing something here..!!???? No, it wasn't on an album. It was a stand alone single.

There were 20 minutes excised from the free single they sent out w/Crystal Ball??
Cuz I know you're not saying that version is boring! It's a little long, granted, but never really gets boring to me. |
