Sueme said: But why would buying extra copies of a newspaper be so hard to do? It's not like anyone is asking you to burn them a CD or record a show....All you'd have to do is go to store in your area, buy 10 newspapers, then tell orgers to send you $5 and you'll mail them the Prince insert. What's so hard about that?
easy: because the sunday issue of the star tribune isn't exactly cheap to get (damn near $2.00 an issue, man!). plus, the 2 copies people have requested for me i'm buyin with my own money, as opposed to them sendin me money. i'm just bein nice, i don't want/need people to send me money so i can send 'em off a dinky 10-page insert.

If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot.

MacGyver and Prince. Two Minnesotans who:
1. Don't drink. 2. Don't carry guns. 3. Play the guitar. 4. Rarely curse. 5. Can make the best out of what they have in front of them. Anymore? Anyone ever listen to the insturmental complexity of the MacGyver theme song? Download that sh*t from Kazaa or something and listen to it with headphones. I'd almost swear Prince wrote that mutha f*cka! Tim

For the record the St. Paul Pioneer Press is also doing a Prince section on Sunday.
I'm not actually sure why anyone wants to own copies so bad that they are getting subscriptions/and or making people ship them copies. I'm sure it will just be a summary of his career that we all know by heart by this point. Also, you can read it online for a week. But to each his own

To those who mentioned Richard Dean Anderson I was named after him.
My mom dated his brother for a while and Richard used to go only by Dean back then and my Mom said she told him that she liked the name and would probably use it someday if she had a son. So when I was born I became Dean which is pretty cool I guess since he wasn't famous in 1974. I've met him before and he was a nice guy.

Midwest Edition of Star Trib DOES have the insert (mine was torn #@(%*Q@$(*@#, going to get a new one).
St. Paul Pioneer press has a huge insert too. Both papers have numerous artciles scattered throughout (not just the inserts) This is probably all redundant info, but I wanted to let those of us from other parts of the state/the midwest know that all the stuff is there!
