ah-HAH!
this was the 12" that made me get all the others before it. i remember seeing it in the "Maxi-Single" bin (remember those???) back in '86 the "(extended version)" subtitle got me curious until that point, i just thought the longer versions of released singles were on the albums, ie. 1999, when doves cry, etc. what a trip THAT was to hear "Kiss" go off on such a strange tangent! i guess the last cool Prince-made remix would be the "Adam & Eve" version of "Greatest Romance". anyhoo, a great single with a great b-side!!! Oh yes...
I actually found this 12" two months ago from the local 2nd hand store, costed about 3$! 
It is great, ive played it sooo many times now. I just love the extended part of Kiss. And Love Or $ definately is on of my fav b-sides. Happy anniversary! ********************************************

I finally tracked down the Parade 'warm-up' show from March 3, 1986 a few days ago, and was amazed to hear a performance of the whole Extended Version of the song - complete with extra lyrics! This is the only place I've heard this - very cool! | |

a few months ago i got a bunch of 12" singles from a kind-hearted orger who decided to send them to me instead of throwin 'em away (  !!!)...the "kiss" 12" single is one of the singles that got sent to me. it's my fave prince song of 'em all (been lovin it since i was about 9, ya'll!)....only extended and with a bad-assed b-side.
