If you die, burst or explode, you won't be able to go to the concert The message you're about to hear is not meant for transmission

With Tickets for the 20,000 seater selling out, this will definitely give record labels an idea whether or not PRINCE is hot or not enough to sign a great lucrative deal that will have him selling millions of records again...if he signs the dotted line!
rock on PRINCE! | |

this is great news... alot of buzz around P right now for the new tour, album, rock and roll hall of fame, 20th anniversary of PR, etc... Could be a big year for him if he plays it right.
AND - most importantly - if he delivers the goods with Musicology. He needs a great album. | |

Looks like the only thing Prince will be shitting on in 2004 is EvilWhiteMale. Not a bad thing, IMO. | |

Well, guess that ain't so true this time around. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Now they're all sold out! Don't feel bad...I was on the net with 2 presale tix in my cart and kept getting kicked off of the site when I tried to checkout due to traffic. This went on for an hour until the post went up that all presale tix were sold out. Then he adds a second show for May 29 at Staples, but the NPGMC failed to send me an email for the presale and low and behold...they're all sold out. You can still get tix for May 29 though...you just have to sit in the nosebleeds with me! Now I have to drive all the way to Phoenix, AZ and sit in crappy seats. UGGHH! I want my $25 back!!!!! (At least it wasn't $100 for the club like last year!) | |

Do I need to just bring evidence I'm in the club or only people in the "special" seats get to go? [This message was edited Sun Feb 29 19:31:01 2004 by calioasis] | |

just because there are 20,000 seats doesn't mean he's selling them all - maybe he cut it off at 10,000 . . . anyone know FOR SURE if he's using the arena to capacity? he said on Leno he wanted everyone to have a good seat and it was going to intimate, with carpet/couches. nose bleed seats are hardly intimate . . . just wondering . . . music is its own reward - Sting | |

----- Who was the person who posted that Prince could not sell out arenas. I bet we will not be hearing anything from that naysayer. | |

----- 10,000.00 is still better than 2,000.00 seats. This guy is going to make a boat load of money off of this tour. | |

guys, prince shouldn't count his money yet.
there are tons of seats left in most of the cities, especially those in smaller markets. lets just hope for a great show, and great word of mouth. thanks | |

I don't know where you get your information...
Based on the thread's allegations of a sell-out, I just now went to TicketMaster, and attempted to buy tickets... I was offered some at $49.00 for the 313 section. I know these aren't great seats (enter "nosebleeds" here)... but they are seats. Where'd you get the "sold out" news, blackboab? Not to bring down your "thunder"... just wondering... |

The second show still has some of the $49 seats left. The reno show is sold out, the Dallas show is down to the nose bleed seats. The other cities I checked all still have the higher priced tickets available. I think Cleveland is closest to selling those out right now. | |

no - he didn't - the seating charts and the available seats left for the second LA show tell you that. | |

So far, 2 Sellouts (Reno, LA - first show), 3 shows close to sold out (Dallas, Cleveland, LA - second show) and 15 shows nowhere near sold out. [This message was edited Mon Mar 1 21:18:00 2004 by TheGoldExperience] Hey look, it's The Artist Formely Known To Sell Records | |

I checked again, and clicking on tickets directs you to the May show. I forced my way into the March show, and while you can "get to" the page, you're unable to buy tickets "at this time", but it does inform you of a second show in May! It doesn't say it's sold out though. |
