easy: it got left off of the list.

In my opinion, Prince has never received the credit he deserves for being a great guitar player. He gets left off of all these lists. I honestly don't know what they're thinking. It's not even like he has to be anywhere near the top, but he could at least get a mention. I've never understood it.

Prince is always left off of guitar lists period. He's not white enough apparently. That's my opinion. Slash is mulatto but he plays whiteboy music. Prince dresses in girls clothes and makeup, not masculine or white enough. But so what, we know how bad are boy is, who needs a list?

Those lists are all stupid. Music journalist wannabe arrogant self aggrandizing masterbatory BULLSHIT!! All real musicians and all real music fans know you can't "rate" that stuff. There is not "top" list of guitar solos, etc. I bet even decent, good hearted journalists groan when they get that assignment. Some of them have to know its bullshit. Only ignorant editors and other powers that be keep inflicting that upon us. I mean think about it. How much creativity does it take to come up with a "top blah blah blah" list. LAZY LAZY LAZY journalism!!

But that's the way people are. I think he's the most underrated guitarist out there and do believe it's because of his feminine qualities. Someone needs to make a website for most misunderstood people.....Prince would be first on the list. Jose Canseco would be on the list.....even Al Gore. Don't make me explain why the others would be on there. You can do the digging! Ha!

Oddly enough, thr list I refer to does have Little Red Corvette ranked somewhere in the 70s but -as any real Prince knows-Prince didnt play that solo; DEZ DICKERSON did!

Like it means anything.. I LOVE the way Prince replies to someone when they tell him that for example "Dick Clark put your song on his balh blah List"... Prince is like "oh"
