This picture has got me wondering... Do the real hardcore "Fam" NPGMC members - the ones that get a real slating here about their behaviour etc - visit the org? Or do you think they just stick to the NPG site? "London, i've adopted a name that has no pronounciation.... is that cool with you?"

i think its lame to have "the public" on stage with him. they always look like shit or obese and stomp around clumsily while laughing and pionting at him.

I like this picture!
It really must be all about perception, getting people on stage, because the way I see it, people are up there having great time, he obviously enjoys the closeness of the people coming to see him. I don't see anything wrong with this, I think it's friendly fun! | |

I think it's sweet when he lets some ppl on stage. You just know that's gonna be a precious memory to them for the rest of their lives. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

What a nice thing to say (and you can say that again)! I'll have to second that and add: Especially to a little kid. You know?
Hasn't Prince mentioned his childhood memory of his father taking him to see James Brown? As I recall, it left a huge impression on him. Those kind of memories never die.
