ppl r all ways discussin thr vault and i had a few things to say. Firstly who actually thinks the vault has as many songs as we're meant to believe or that there are really not many. Also if P has so many songs in there then y dont we hear them more often in concerts etc. Y does he keep in the vault and not release them over npgmc. also the songs in the vault r they any good or just substandard and demo-ish. I heard some of the songs from the vault on boot etc and some r cool. wot do y'all think.

I go back and forth on it. SOmetimes I'm pretty sure he's got tons of songs we haven't heard yet, some great some shitty, and other times, I think it's just something he says to keep people interested.

As Prince is reported to record all his live performances too, then he has an abundance of material to store away - and it isn't all supposed to be locked away at Paisley, either.

Of the quality of unreleased material, who can say? Many people who have heard unreleased material that is circulating have favourite songs that they would like to hear in best quality.

As for the previous thread, I guess people were reeling from the fact that "its kicks serious tail y'all" is common parlance in Hull, and that 'The P' is described as 'funky as hell'
