Celebration 2004: What do you think?

Apologies if this subject has been discussed (too much) already elsewhere, but I was thinking today...with all the excitement of the upcoming tour/CD, Prince's TV appearances, his reunion with Wendy, rumors about a Revolution reunion, the Purple Rain 20 year anniversary, etc., I wonder what are the chances of a Celebration happening this year?

Maybe with all else Prince has going on this year it wouldn't be feasible to hold one, but I think in light of all the exciting things happening for Prince at the moment, combined with the PR nostalgia, a Celebration this particular year would be INCREDIBLE.

I attended the 2002 Celebration and had the best time of my life. I'm crossing my fingers there will be another Celebration again someday and 2004 sounds like a good year to me. biggrin

I was curious about what all of you think. What are your opinions on the chance of a Celebration happening this year? Good? Bad?

And if there is one, who should Prince invite to perform? Ideas about special activities or events, if any, to celebrate the PR 20 year anniversary?

...just passing this dreary February afternoon by daydreaming a little...smile

After the Family Jamm I think it would be awesome if Sheila E, The Family, and Madhouse would join Prince with the Revolution and the NPG for 7 days of HEAVEN.

It could happen. He's been trying to work with Wendy and Lisa again for years. Maybe now's the time.

I would just like there to *be* a Celebration at Paisley Park this year, no matter who Prince might get to play for it.

Hopefully he is more inclined this year than last to hold one again.

I'd say 20% probability that it will happen.
