ONA on VIDEO

I've noticed that the following concerts are circulating on video,
One night alone NY
One nite alone Milan
One nite alone Japan 19/9/2002
One nite alone Japan 15/9/2002
Does anyone know which one was filmed the best?
Steady and unobstructed camera work?
Good quality picture and sound?
And lastly, which was the better performance?

AND just in

ONA Berlin !

it is incomplete though -
it only goes up to "The Beautiful Ones" so I am told.

haven;t seen it myself yet but will soon.
Hard to believe I've been on the org for over 25 years now!

Japan is certainly impressive but at the end when Prince asks them to put on the house lights, the view suddenly dissapears as the cameraman hides his camera!

Also, a very freaky, ghostly figure pops up behind John Blackwell during his drum solo. No-one else has noticed it but me, but I swear it's disturbing. It's probably only Maceo or Greg getting a look at the action but the light makes them look very sinister.

Kokusai - November 15th 2002

Best i've seen. The cameraman has a really good shot for about 90% of the performance. The sound quality during the second half is a little rough, but apart from that it's damn fine.

It's worth getting the Budokan performance just for the guy they get up to dance on stage. It's a classic!! smile

Wow Japan was better then NY? The east coast must be slipping.

One night alone NY - NOT BAD
One nite alone Milan WORST ON OF THEM ALL
One nite alone Japan 19/9/2002 - 1 of the best
One nite alone Japan 15/9/2002 - 1 of the best

its really a tie between 15 and 19 - both are different sets

So was the boot from the opening night of the tour in Tokyo. It's in my top ten all time favourite Prince boots.

That's the DJ! On the Berlin DVD (which is crappy), during John's solo, the DJ held a mirror and John combed his hair ala Morris Day & Jerome Benton! I'm guessing the DJ was waiting to hold the mirror up but it didn't happen
