I was listening to Tavis (TAAAVVVVIISS!!!! as Jay calls him) and he said that not only will he be talking to Prince, but P will perform twice AND it's the debut of the Musicology video!!!

I was also listening to the Tom Joyner morning show and Tavis was doing his morning comment and did mention several times he will be talking with Prince on Thursday the 19th and that "P" will perform and that he has a new album out and that Tavis will premier "P's" new video.
Tavis didn't say what video but there will be one because of the new album.

Of course we all know "P" and who can tell what is up his sleeve especially with being on Tavis talks which by far is probably a mostly black audience.

So who is Tavis Smiley? Is his show just another one of those hundreds of chatshows that seem to dominate American tv? Is he big over there? Is he 'syndicated' or whatever throughout the USA or just in one region?

He did a forum at the last paisley park celebration along with other people of his stature and had his own show on BET before it was bought by another company.
