Wendy AND Lisa in the studio with Prince !!!!! I just got an email from a good friend in LA who was in the studio with Nikka Costa and he said Prince was in the studio with them the other day playing keybords on a track and then the next night Wendy & Lisa came down to the studio to jam and record!! Prince wanted to keep it a private thing, so they kicked out almost everyone from the studio - including Nikka's bandmates. | |

i don't understand prince's fascination with nikka costa. they must get along well or something (i mean that is the excuse prince had for keeping kirky j around for so long). hey whatever it takes to get a reunion with wendy again. of course i have heard the wendy rumour, but it did not include lisa...you sure this includes lisa?? | |

They're probably over-dubbing old Revolution tracks for disc 2 of the Purple Rain CD re-release. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

Nikka's vocal antics can grate, occasionally. But, "Everbody's Got..." was a HOT album. Nary a weak track. | |

It wouldn't hurt to try a little new music would it? If nothing comes of it, it can sit in the vault. However, if something interesting developed I for one wouldn't mind hearing it (and I'm not one who pines for the "good ol' days"). |
