Sexy Dancer questions I touched on this a little in another thread... I don't think I've ever heard or seen him perform SD live! Have you? It's not even on "The Hits/B-Sides!" Maybe it's not one of his favorites?
Also, anyone know what's going on in the intro? It's sounds like he's in a studio. There's a guy with a British? accent saying something about a "mix." There's a faint "we can do this," then all hell breaks loose!

What in the world ever happened to Sue Ann? I remember this song that went something like, Let me, let you, rock me...

There's no 'british guy' on the real 12" version of
sexy dancer. It's just like the album version, but goes on longer and has some great guitar and piano soloing from Prince, and lasts about 8:41.

She did an album, Blue Velvet, produced by Jesse Johnson back in '88. It's really good, if you like the Jesse brand of funk. I love that album. She has a good voice. I haven't heard anything about her since, though. FREE THE 29 MAY 1993 COME CONFIGURATION!

What in the world ever happened to Sue Ann? I remember this song that went something like, Let me, let you, rock me... Sue Ann's "Let me let you rock me" single had her version of Prince's "Make it through the storm" on the b-side, the only ever official release for this track. It's only credited to Chris Moon, who wrote the lyrics, but the vocal melody is identical to Prince's version. Also, "Sexy dancer" was a regular part of the setlist on the Nude tour.
