Finally seen it thanks to me old buddy andy. Prince ripped it up, honestly I cant see why people wernt impressed. The only thing I thought was missing was his dancin but other than that top performance!! Beyonce wernt all that bad either.

Its great to see that Prince is finally making a come back in the mainstream audience. All the Prince sites on the net have experienced a lot of traffic in new members joining, good stuff!

To be honest I think his rumoured plans to join a major label aint so bad, hes finally run out of money & is realising he cant fuck about no more!

Didn't want to post my own thread about this - there are enough already - so I'll do it here:

I agree with you Cloud9... finally got to see the Grammy performance today and boy it rocked!!!

First of all, Prince was amazing. I never expected to see anything but a hits medley, so that wasn't a disappointment (although that's not what I'd want at a concert, but that's a different story).

Secondly, after Prince sang the first verse, I was excecting a guitar solo... instead Beyonce comes in, okay, dressed like a slut but with a voice from heaven! I was surprised that I enjoyed it so much.

And then then end... Prince playing with the audience and the way they loved him... ah, that made me happy.

A+++ performance. The first good thing Prince has done for his publicity since... since... well in years anyway, perhaps a decade.

However, the masses forget quickly... so if Prince wants to capitalize on this he has to give out some kind of press release in the coming days (about a new album/tour of PR DVD release etc). Otherwise it was all for nothing.
