Beyonce was a distraction and Prince was more like a cover band doing Prince music than Prince.

pssst Prince I gave you a A+++ It was 100% better then your 1985 American Music performance of the same song. PLUS you added 3 more songs

all in 5 minutes and performed the "hot parts" guitar solos,dancing, he even pumped and grinded on "lets go crazy"

Wow, sometimes it seems like whatever Prince does these days, he's just destined to be crapped on for it by his diehard fans.

I see it as being very simple.

Instead of analyzing his performance deeply, I merely saw a musical legend showing everyone what a phenomenal performer he still truly is, all while getting the attention he deserves by having one of music's hottest acts by his side.

No need to be jaded here ppl, it was a great performance.

i dnt fink it did, i just think prince could have done better with out beyonce on "purple rain", but with "baby im a star" it was great together, "lets go crazy" wasn't nothing amazing, but prince on the guitar when crazy in love came on it was amazing!!!
