This is such bullshit, and it's one of the rare occasions that I really *HOPE* something gets reported to NPGMC.

Well, I tend to agree with you guys, but then again, he seems to know when Purple Rain will be re-released. I wish someone who knew him could step up and verify whether he works for NPGMC or not. Has he posted on here before? Ben? Matt? Anyone?
Prince wouldn't care about his own tour books enough to keep track of whether he still has them or not and if the club could get hold of some they would be selling them again don't you think? Maybe they really don't have any more... | |

I thought the re-release date was common knowledge? Maybe they really don't have any more... Has the Purple Rain 2 Disc DVD release date (I presume this is what is being referred to) now been announced for June 2004? The official press release in mid-december from Warner Home Video stated that the three Prince DVD releases were to be in August. ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift. |

He never said Prince is looking for anything. He's looking for that stuff. June 28th is a Monday so I think you're right - that can't be a real release date. I have no idea if he means the Purple Rain DVD or the CD either.
