Was Prince involved in this in any way? Is this version considered a track Prince worked on, or is it simply a cover version of a track Prince wrote? I think he's not mentioned in the music credits, but I wonder if it was his idea that Chaka record this. Theoretically, she could have just heard Sheena Easton's version and decided to cover it (unlikely though this is).

This song was originally intended for Vanessa Williams but she turned it down and Sheena did it. Then Chaka did it, it's a cool little song but no one gave it anything different or special, including Prince's version. Martika might have been good for this for her album.
