Like hell they're not. I have friends that had all the studio releases on day 1, the bootlegs, the regular Friday trips to PP, etc. Each of them swore, as I did, to be faithful to the end. And one by one, they're falling by the wayside due to his treatment of us. They first started by taking a few days to buy a new cd. Then they stopped buying boots. Now, they don't even care if I burn them new releases or not. They could care less.

As for fams that complain that some of us continue to live in the past, maybe it's because all the new releases are so entwined with the stains of controversy, that it's actually difficult to separate the music from the stain. It's easier to listen to Parade, which was just an album, than to Crystal Ball, which I had to buy in the store because 1-800-FUCK-UP messed up my order. Or to N.E.W.S., which should have been part of the membership, but wasn't.

Hiding? No. Those that I care about in my real life with two exceptions know who I am. Plus, this return is only temporary as I am reminded daily why I stopped posting in the first place. I am a former glutton, by the way. I have finally accepted that Prince does what the fuck he wants.

This happenews with all artists after being in the bizz for over 20 years. I would think there was something seriously WRONG with people if they were still going to the store the first day a new release went on sale, trekking to a PP party out of their way, always getting bootlegs...thats a NATURAL progression...dont try to put that on Princes so called bad beahvior...that shit would have happened re-friggen-gardless.
