If Prince Were to be a Judge on the Show "American Idol"....

would his comments regarding the contestants' performances be as sarcastic as Simon Cowell's? Or do you think he would try to be more diplomatic when telling people what he thought of their singing ability?

This thought just came to me as I was watching the premiere of "American Idol" tonight on Fox. I was appalled at the judges' behavior during several of the performances, because they were actually laughing at the singers who they thought were not qualified enough to go forward (which, in my opinion, was extremely rude). What do you think Prince's reactions/comments would be if he were to hear a performer who he thought was not good enough? I'm interested to hear your comments.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

At PP parties Prince has made fun of peoples dancing so I reckon he wouldn't have a problem making fun of peoples singing.

Also, most of the people who show up don't get to sing in front of the judges so I'm quite sure that 99.9 percent of the "bad" singers know that they are being brought in to be laughed and made fun of.

I have never watched American Idol, but have seen the commercials and I picture Prince just sitting there staring at the people like he did Dick Clark years ago. Then, maybe,he'd just leave.

falloff I can picture Prince doing that, just leaving and having the contestant standing there with their mouth open in shock because Prince didn't even give them any feedback about their singing. lol

He'd be more likely to sue you for not getting permission first.

You do realise that the judges comments are largely scripted and their rudeness to hopeful singers is the sole reason for the show's worldwide success...

Of course it is. In every country they have a 'Simon' in the panel, he's the one that attracts all the viewers.

He'd always pick the chick with the big tits. He is just a poon hound. He would never want to vote for someone who might challenge him in the talent contest.

It would interesting to see if Prince could even win American Idol. You know how his falsetto seems to bug people.

Oh man, Prince would be pissed if somebody screwed up one of his songs. He would storm out of the audition room and that would be the end of that. lol
