I just cannot choose between 'The Good Life', 'Cream', 'Get Wild', and 'Eye Hate U'(the instrumental version of this is an absolute gem)

and Partyman maxi. I truly dig The Purple Party Mix.

Those there are tied for first, then the LetItGo maxi and New Power Generation maxi.

And for third place ... the Glam Slam / Escape 12-inch. Wow, that's all I have to say. Wow. Free your mid from this rat race.

Also tied at No. 4 is the America 12-inch with the long form of Girl. That groove keep on going on and on and on.

And rounding out at No. 5 for me is the Mountains 12-inch. Power 10-12 minutes on vinyl.

Dang it ... looks like a Top 10 is in the works, no, I will stop at No. 6.

At No. 6 is the Scandalous Sex Suite -- 19 minutes of pure unadulterated sexyfunk. Love how Prince "talks" through is guitar during The Passion and The Rapture.

Just as funky as his regular strong grooves on maxi, the Scandalous Sex Suite proves how you can flesh out a great smooth R & B quiet storm groove.

I can't believe U all 4got Thieves in the Temple...Even cooler that there's a 12" version of the video...Man, I miss the days of seeing new Prince videos...We know U still make them brotha, so let's see them! NPG radio and TV should be coming 2 our houses~

Oh dang, I didn't know the old 12" singles were eligible in this thread - in that case, I can't even answer this question because I have too many favorites and cannot be monogamous to a proper answer.

If by maxi-single you mean the long version remixes like when we had 12" singles and B sides.

Gett Off was the greatest. Violet The Organ Grinder is by far one of P.`s most orginal tracks. Too this day I still groove to that CD!!!

i would say gett off is the one i listen to most. although all those 12" from the around the world in a day i love because of both the music and the artwork on the album cover.

in no particular order... mountains , gett off , the good life (every mix is pure dancehall heaven) , i wish u heaven , and i am surprised that no one has mentioned the future that was a good remix.
i find that the america 12" mix drags on a bit prefer the hot tracks version which was mixed with baby i'm a star ...now that was pure bliss.
most dissapointing 12" version (for me) was cream , i was dissapointed with that one especially as gett off was so good only a few weeks prior.
