I wouldn't describe them as club mixes.
The extended version is cool, alternate lyrics in places, Prince makes reference to "that feather in Forrest Gump, floating on the breeze", the Eric Leeds Quiet Night mix is OK too if you are in the mood for some sax. There's somthing about that album version though, raw, passionate and a killer guitar solo! Just somewhere in the middle,

This is one of my faves, the instrumental version is so very nice except for the constant lyric -"I hate UUU".
...what he says and the way he sings it, only Prince can do a song like this. I'm not sure that it would be played in clubs though... I like the album version too... its like a battle between his mind and his heart. but in the end -"because I love U." the heart always wins. -"If U don't like,

I looove the flutestramental with Eric on the Horn as well as the extended version with alternative lyrics.
