Unreleased Version of Interactive? Can anyone let me know if there are any unreleased studio versions of Interactive. I know it was on Crystal Ball, but I think I remember something about there being other slightly different versions circulating before this came out.

Isn't the version on the CD-ROM Interactive game different?

The "Interactive Cd-rom" version contains the breakdown
in the middle with the segue that was just an example of the many experiences the dawn has to offer if you would like to continue the interactive experience, please press "come" The Crystal Ball version is slightly longer and does not contain this break, instead it just continues and has an extra verse in that place. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Thanks. So there is just one unreleased version then. For some reason I thought there might be another one, maybe from Glam Slam Ulysses or Come/The Gold Experience

I think the Ulysses version is slightly different but I can't remember what exactly is different about it. Hard to believe I've been on the org for over 25 years now!

There is only one studio version of Interactive, the one
included on Crystal Ball. There are a few different versions circulating, but they are all edits of this one basic track. The version used on The Beautiful Experience TV special and the Interactive CD Rom was missing the second verse, and in it's place was an NPG Operator segue which split the song in two. The "R U Ready?" intro was also missed off on many occasions when the track was included on early versions of 'Come' and 'The Gold Experience' too. The version used for the Glam Slam Ulysses show was the same as the one that appeared on Crystal Ball.

There is a EDITED version thats on the Interactive CD-rom. There are a ton of live versions from a ton of Gold tour era concerts. There is a remix(don't know if it has any Prince involvement, I doubt it) of Interactive on a bootleg called Come Like An Explosion. i also have it on a boot called Platinum which contain the I'll Do Anything songs.
this version of Interactive is a bit more rough around the edges. it definately is not the same recording as on CB.

I really like the shorter edit, much more punchy.
Would have made a great lead single. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
