I know Grafiti Bridge gets a lot negative critism around here, but I say here are five good reason why you should watch the movie ...


1. AURA'S BLACK DRESS, WHEN SHE GOES 2 THE CLUB WITH MORRIS

2. THE MORNING AFTER WHEN PRINCE WON'T SPEAK, INSTEAD PLAY HANGMAN WITH THE HEART SHAPED NOTE PAD

3. WHEN PRINCE TRIES 2 ADDRESS JILL JONES FOR DISSING HIM AND JILL JONES THROWS HER PANTIES AT HIM

4, ROBIN POWERS GOING OFF ON MORRIS DAY, 4 LEAVING HER AT THE CLUB LAST NIGHT

5. MORRIS DAY & JEROME TURNS ON THE HOUSE LIGHT, ONLY 2 REALIZE THEY WERE MAKING OUT WITH EACH OTHER, AFTER PRINCE KINDNAPS AURA FROM THE CRIB

Plus Prince looks sooo cute in that movie with his long hair and his beard. That alone is reason enough for me to watch the movie.

It's all about the "Release It" battle between The Time & The NPG. C'mon, tell me you wasn't feeling Morris when they added background harmonies to Prince's vox.

Fantastic summary of that confusing and poorly done movie. Here are my reasons to like Grafitti Bridge though:

1) Some Decent Music, and even still, I found GB to be pretty average. Matter of fact, my favorite tracks were the "weak" ones on the movie, Elephants and Flowers, Tick Tick Bang, etc.

2) Interesting Colours and Textures, as well as the fact that it was recorded on a stage gives it the feel of "Rent", "Hair" or "Grease" type of musical, which is not necessarily a good thing, but does make it more interesting than if it was filmed correctly

I think his hair looked good up close, the further back shots he looked like a Pez despenser, the boy has got a HUGE head.

Bad thing : Morris Days character is harsher and less likable than in PR. I just do not like his smug look, actually bothers me.

Good thing: Time eating hot pepper contest, quite fun

I am sure there were explosions during one of the performances.
