just thought id let you know (more boredom, but i did my essay!) its at number 9 in the album charts. that means its the 9th biggest selling album on amazon. i think this is pretty amazing, its leapt from 20 to 9 in a couple of days. the thing is its updated hourly so it could easily drop again. but it was on 15 for quite a few hours yesterday, then leapt up to 11, now 9, would be cool if it got even higher, its above so many albums actually on the album charts which is funny.

also, interesting story, one of the reviewers on it said he bought the album after seeing purple rain on channel 5 in the early hours of the morning! so he remembered he liked it and got the album, and now plans on getting more albums! who would have thought showing that film at 2am or whatever, would lead to a boost in prince sales?! also due to an album prince never wanted releasing and slammed on the npgmc, yet it got me into prince (through buying it for my sister last xmas) and other people too clearly!

its only a fiver at the moment so if you aint got it and feel the need to finish your collection you could get it. i own all those songs already though apart from the 1999 ones so i might just burn my own cd of it, plus prince didnt want the album releasing! not that i pay any attention to that with boots mind...

its now at its "peak" at number 8! holding on steady. it would be nice if it charted on the official top 40 this week. but i doubt it!
