I like the lyrics to this song. Very nice. I think this song suffered from what Warner used to call "flooding the market". Prince was releasing singles like crazy back then, and some felt it too much for the public to absorb. I like the album too (well, most of it). They are some great songs in there.

this songw as a moderate radio hit back then .when i saw the prince show he worked the song so hard that even those that were lukewarm to it left the hall humming the coda!!cool live song!!

Co-Sign! TOTALLY agree! The whole album is really incredible and I dont' know why it gets slagged so much because there's so much quality material. I remember finding this disc in the cut out bins at record stores...man, just proves people dont' know what they're missing!
