Prince song of the day- Anna Stesia

This is one of my favorite songs, but if you listen 2 it, don't listen 2 the lovesexy version, listen 2 the live version in ONA. I like the Message in it...

"Love is God, God is love, Girls & Boys Love God above"
peace heart

Actually the speechifying in the ONA version ruins it for me. Not that I necessarilly have a problem with the message, I could care less actually. Just takes me out of the song, ya know?

CO-SIGN!!! That song's message is perfect as is, the ONA version doesn't do a thing for me, I actually usually skip it.

"88" Oakland on Nov 10th Prince played the single best most powerful live version of Anna Stesia I've ever heard. It was a amazing vibe that moved over the people as he simply cut through the O-zone layer slicing the moon with that guitar solo...brilliant music was indeed witness~

Yeah but it wasn't the kind of preaching that it is now. You didn't have that feeling that he was one more convert away from getting a toaster oven.

Oh I know, and it annoyed me back then too. Again, not that I had a problem with the messages, just that you'd be grooving to this classic song and all of a sudden he's talking..

I respect Prince 4 standing up 4 what he believe, it's a whole lot better then hearing him talk about something pointless like people do these days, a least the message in his music in meaninful, know what I mean ?

Love the song. Spiritual and powerful without being forcefully preachy.

Great song, even if I don't believe that there's a God above. big grin

And the Lovesexy live version was great too. He was playing the piano while it was levitating. omfg

I definitely love the LOVESEXY TOUR live version!! That scream on the album version gives me the CHILLS everytime I hear it. It really got me through a rough time in my life...I wouldn't necessarily say it SAVED MY LIFE..but it sure helped nod
