thought id go out shopping yesterday and get another copy of Parade cos mine is old and Sometimes it snows in april jumps
any way I went in Hmv and a few others and the lack of Prince albums was disturbing.I shop on the net alot now so I dont to record shops much.
Just wondered if it was the same in your area im from England
The last time I went in there was two rows of Prince music this time three albums
Finally got parade ended up going to three different towns but well worth it

Since his tour in Australia, The usually full rows of Albums are runnig low at the moment.

almost all Prince albums are absent from UK shelves since the january sales had just about every album of his VERY cheap so everybody snapped them up.

that's the reason. it's not because they don't usually stock them.

Precisely, I have no idea where I am going to get hold of his first 5 Albums (For You, Dirty Mind, etc) cause it's all unavailable and isnt being pressed anymore :'(. I'll hav 2 get it all 2nd hand and stuff, but good thing is, I managed to snatch up all the popular Prince albums.

Tell you something I never realised, but when I bought my 3rd ever album, Batman, it was still popular, and the guy who sold me this said, "You're a Prince fan, right?" i said "yeah" and he goes "You'd better try to get all of em quick, they wont be around much longer - Prince is emancipated."
What he said weren't quite right, the albums weren't stopped cause he didn't hav the contract anymore, but he was right about getting em all, too bad i missed the early ones - so if anyone's sellin, orgnote me pleeease!

Just order them on amazon.

Lotsa wrecka stows don't know that TGE is out of print and is considered a collectible by a lot of people who really dig Prince, so if you do some digging in the used CD bins, you can usually find a copy of it for like six or seven bucks.
