From what i've seen footage of...Lovesexy.
Not sure which tour generated the most money...probably the PR tour, if I had to guess.

Hi andy,
My favourite tour was the 1995 Gold or (I think it was called) Ultimate Live Experience tour. You are probably right about The D & P Tour it certainly took in a lot of countries. Most of Europe, Australia, Japan, The US(?). I think the Purple Rain tour was pretty profitable too. Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

As stated on here on many previous threads:
Lovesexy for its overall theme/spectacle. One Nite Alone for its musicianship.

Well from live footage Ive seen it would have to be Parade. As 'nana says, the band are 'tight' and really funky and they look good. Act II will always have a place in my heart though becuz it was the 1st tour where I saw Prince or indeed anyone live. It was incredibly exciting.

Prince's most successful tour was Purple Rain. He played to 1.7 million people. At the time, he shattered attendance records wherever he played.
He performed to 1.3 million on the Lovesexy tour and to 1.2 million on the Nude tour. [This message was edited Thu Jan 1 20:06:43 PST 2004 by TheGoldExperience] [This message was edited Thu Jan 1 20:07:06 PST 2004 by TheGoldExperience] Hey look, it's The Artist Formely Known To Sell Records

My favorite tour is my first one, so I think it's biased. I went to a Jam-o-the year tour in San Diego in '97 at the Rimacc Arena. That shit was bad. He did Face Down and played Piano and Bass at the same time. He was all cursin' ant shit. It was tight as hell. In a small ass college gym. Tix were only $40 too and I was in the front!
