How I'd like the club to handle Prince's music

I think this is appropriate for this forum. Mods, you decide.

Now that the club has said we don't need to renew membership, I've been giving some thought to the future of music in the club.

NPGMC could enter into a partnership with one of the online music providers (iTunes, Rhapsody etc.) for Prince's back-catalogue (or at least, whatever P has rights to). All the famous ones that the public know and would want to pay 79c-99c per song to download. Then there's a 'member's only' section (perhaps we use our password) to have access to new songs/albums at the same price (79c-99c per song / $7.77 per album, like NEWS). In the general public section, maybe a 'single' from a members-only album could entice non-members to join, and maybe there are a few new songs in the public area just to keep the public aware that Prince is still producing new music.

This system would ensure that the NPGMC still makes money from its members on a regular basis, and advertises the club to casual passersby of Prince's past, hits-driven catalogue.

Thoughts?

Prince makes music? Cool! I thought he just designed baby doll tees, bibs and doggie t-shirts!

I think the same.
I posted a thread about this topic. It's incredible you cannot find music on npgmc, "the official site for..."

Yes, there are some things, but it's not enough. You can't find official things like Rave DVD, The Rainbow Children.
But most important, this place should be the site where you find "special" things, like "ONA piano", "Xpectation". I got them in mp3's, but I'd like to buy the original ones, and there's no chance.
Unbelievable.
