I have to thank Prince for saving my ass last nite! Im a dancer (4 my sins) and currently have the most horrendous cold flu thingy at the moment that knocked me out and brought me to my knees(haha) Unfortunately I still have to dance when ill but nothin was gonna get me outta my bed,no amount of Vit C, Brandy whatever was gonna do it untill by chance, my flat mate decided to put on my copy of "Diamonds and Pearls". At first I threw the biggest tantrum and told her in no uncertain terms to "turn it the f$*k off" as I was not in the mood, then the by the time "Daddy Pop" had finished and the first few strains of "Diamonds and Pearls" filled the room I was outta that bed like, well I got up and got down like a goodun and decided to incorporate "Willing and Able" (in my opinion the cream of the album-excuse the bad pun!) into my routine and low and behold it saved my ass helped me shake it and made me feel better than any amount of "Courvoisier" or indeed "Crystal" could have! So thanx Mr Nelson, I owe ya one!
