Prince is Number 2..... ...in Q magazine's "100 most insane moments in rock" for when he went a-witnessing with Larry Graham. Here's the text:
Since becoming a Jehovah's witness in 2001, Prince has sworn to omit risque songs likw "Sexy MF" and "Gett Off" from future set lists, but his dedication does not end there. Being a multi-millionaire pop star doesn't spare Prince from his duties spreading the gospel from door-to-door. On 5th October 2003, accompanied by fellow Witness and former Sly and the Family Stone bass player Larry Graham, he turned up on the doorstep of a family home in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. When the housewife, identified only as Rochelle, insisted she wasn't interested, Prince asked "Can I just finish?" before launching into a 25-minute spiel. All things considered, he couldn't have picked a worse time to call - the family are devoutly Jewish and it was the day of their Yom Kippur meal.

that it's a highy holy day for jewish people? considering how much christians force their holidays on everyone else, i think it would be fair to ask that they know other religions holidays, especially ones that are pretty widely observed in america. Number 1 was simply "Keith Moon".

Number 1 was simply "Keith Moon". I stopped buying Q Mag when it turned into Smash Hits for adults. Keith Moon was a destructive eccentric, but he wasn't ever as insane as Iggy Pop, GG Allin or even Jim Morrison at their most barmy. I think Prince is a knob of a major order, but by canvassing his neighbours he's staying true to the current faith he's subscribing to. Good on him. (I wouldn't let him in my house though).
