I was looking through my Prince videos 2day and I came across this old video tape I thought was a blank tape. I told myself 2 put the blank tape 2 the side, so that I could use it 4 later just in case I wanted 2 record something on it laters, but before I did, I started 2 get this weird feeling inside and something told me 2 put in the tape 2 see what it was.

I was hoping it was a old porno or something, but 2 my surprise it was the music video 2 insatiable. My mouth dropped, I was in complete shocked and I almost wanted 2 cry. Cuz I been looking for this tape for years.and I almost 4gotten how much I loved this video. Now I know alot people think Prince has sucky videos, but I always, always thought this video was something special. I thought it was completely beautiful . Yes , that's right I said the word beautiful. It was truly a experience 2 loose urself in.


I love the way how Prince was able 2 illustrate the love & sensuality between a man and woman. It wasn't just about sex alone, it was something deeper you know. It was about playing out each other fantasies and making love 2 another in your utmost passions. Now I'm not trying 2 sound like a Victoria secrets commercial, but it's the best way I can describe this video, otherwise you'll just have 2 see it for yourself .

Anyways, another reason why I love this video is because, I think it truly fit Prince image at the time and it showed you the type of man he was and whoever he wanted you perceived him 2 be. I mean this is the reason why I fall in love with Prince in the first place. Back when I was young. naive & stupid , I use 2 believe Prince was a man who could provide you all deepest fantasies... that's what it was all about right, providing the fantasy? Now that I'm older, I come 2 the realization ... Damn, why couldn't have been me instead of mani ? As hard as it was I moved on and learned how 2 just appreciate Prince 4 his music, which is the main reason why I love the man 2day .

I use 2 always think, the lady with the video camera was the actress Robin Givens, now that I see the video again the lady doesn't look anything like Robin Givens .
