2 classic songs but which is the better?

The both handle different subjects... you don't judge songs like you judge your own prestaions. Do you judge your parents or your kids?

Still they both indeed have a same feel in some way...

Anna Stesia for me personally. Especially the line "Between White and Black, night and day. Black and Night seem like the only way...So I danced"

Neither are better. It's a metter of personal taste. I like them both.

I love Joy, but Anna Stesia is gonna be the either/or.

I really can't decide because both are just too damn good. But what the hell, I'll go with Joy in Repetition.

I like them both, but not to the degree you all seem to do. I think they're good, but there are many songs I like even better.

Love both, but Joy will always be special to me for the fact that I owned a very poor quality boot of it before it was released, the guitar solo is truly amazing and definitley kills the one in Anna, and the live version of joy, I won't even go into how incredible the guitar work on that version is.

i don't know much about 'joy in repertition' but i love prince's song, 'joy in repetition'!

'anna stesia' never gets old for me and sometimes, if the mood is just right, i feel it through my whole body when i hear it. the revelation of faith in that song is just profound! i love both but 'anna stesia' gets my pick!

I love both songs, but AnnaStesia is so moving and when Prince performs it live...gives me chills, remember on the Lovesexy tour in '88. He performed this song so incredibly, I was in tears, and the piano was rising up with him above the stage..everyone was waving hands in the air..it was so incredible..(Houston show 11/27/88) I will never 4 get as I was at the show and pregnant with my daughter and in labor...yes I said IN LABOR...I wasn't leaving till it was ova...or the baby came first MEMORIES
(btw..had the baby next morning...and I did get to tell Prince about this last year 4/14/02 at the ONA Houston soundcheck..he was really blown away by that!)
