I downloaded the above track which clocks in at 7min 9 sec as sounds identical to the released version except it has no vocals on it apart from Prince calling out for a taxi at the beginning. I hadn't heard about this version before - does anyone know if it is genuine or just the work of some bootleggers editing out the singing?

sounds like a fan-made fake to me...i've never heard of an official version of this.
