Joy in Repetition Lyrics

Ok, I never really knew this song as I wasn't a Graffiti (sp?) fan. But I LOVE this song on ONA Live. 2 questions...

1. Where can I get the lyrics to this song?
2. How is this live version different/better/worse than the GB album version.

Thanks in advance...

u can find the lyrics @

as far as the live version vs the studio version, it seems like its kinda slowed down and more mellow. there is this part in the studio version thats missing from the live version where he kinda moans at the end (gives me goose bumps everytime) oh and he spared us the sermon in the original.

all hail to jehovah!

The song was originally written in June or July in 1986 and it was to be placed on the original Crystal Ball in 1987. The original unedited studio version has the lone long drum beat in the beginning and it not fucked up with that garbage segue on GB. It was also segued on the original configuration of Crystal Ball. If you can get you hands on the unedited version, you will love the song more.

Then those keyboard chords come in THEY'RE DOPE! That chord sequence is unreal (as is the rest of the song)

The person who started this thread was seeking to compare and contrast the live version on 'One Nite Alone ... Live!' with the original Graffiti Bridge version.

However, none of the sermonising you have described appears on either the original or the live version released on 'One Nite Alone ... Live!'
