Test pressings, are they intrests a collector should have?

Im a serious collecter but are these worth having and how unique or rare are these? Im talking about vinly ones with the studio or whatever hand written tracks on them. I know what the real items of worth are (by worth, I dont mean money) but have no knowledge on these items. Can any one help?

I don't know a huge amount about test pressings except this...

They CAN be worth alot depending on if they differ from the final releases and the condition that they are in.

Hard thing is in proving it is authentic - the last year has seen an explosion of FAKE Prince items (mainly on EBAY)from test pressings, and promos to faked autographs and signatures.

You really have to know your stuff before you start throwing cash around in this particular area.
Hard to believe I've been on the org for over 25 years now!
