I just downloaded the extended studio version of I would die 4 u and its a little bit longer than the orginal. It clocks at about 3:17. If anyone hasn't heard it yet, its a little different. I say its an alternate version. I like this one a little better.

I Would Die 4 U (ext. Vers.) is 10:15 long!!!

That's the version released in Germany as the B-side of the Erotic City CD Single back in 1989 and that Prince asked to return earlier this year

Pandurito, the 10 min version is a completely different recording, itself edited from a much longer (25 minute?) live recording.

Its not even the 10:15 version either. Its the same as the one on the purple rain cd, except that the ending sounds a little different. Plus it fades out when the song is finished too.
I'm not sure how many people had heard this version but the sound quality is a little bad being that its a bootleg.
