i can give you only two examples,i have seen a video of dirty mind tour,
where prince messed up with why you wanna treat me so bad guitar solo.
i think he sang some wrong notes during fallin from celebration 2000.
did all of you orgers notice any mistakes?

I saw him a couple years ago during a soundcheck, a stadium performance, and an aftershow. These all took place within 24-hours, and he had performed a lot of older songs. He messed up more than a few times, even on the words (and it wasn't on purpose). No biggy. Minor things. He was having fun, and we were too.

edit: watch "Purple Rain" on Prince & The Revolution Live -- the part where he's sharing the mic with Brenda -- notice that he almost sings his line a measure or two too early.

You have to be kidding. Do you realize how many times Prince has performed??? The man IS human. I'm sure he makes a mistake almost every time. He's just such great and experienced performer that most folks will never know when he messes up. One thing is for sure and that is that I can assure you that there are much, much more than only two examples of Prince missing notes/lyrics or whatever while performing.

Check out the end of "The Ladder" from Around the World In A Day...he misses the note, but makes it sound like he meant to do it.
