As many of you know, Prince is being inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of fame with the class of 2004. When I first read this I decided to e-mail the hall and offer to lend some of my collection to them. They e-mailed back and said they would love to borrow my records!

I was suprised they wanted more of my 45's as opposed to the 12" singles, as I have tons more 12"ers than 45's. I was also suprised they didn't want the promo copy of "Why you wanna treat me so bad" (I paid $90 for this record)or the officially released 12" for "Let's work" (I paid $16 for it at a used record shop but have seen it go for $150 at record shows). They also didn't want many of the picture discs, I thought for sure they would want the Mexican picture disc of the "O-+>" album. I guess I'm excited they want any of them at all!!

I happen to live in Erie PA which is a hop skip and a jump away from Cleveland. I can't wait for the exhibit to open so I can see my records in the hall of fame.

My goodness, I don't want my only 3" CD to be taken away. Maybe I better not let them use that one.

This collection is very, very far from complete!!
I know a lot of fans who's collection is superior.

Why don't they wanna exhibit your complete collection???

But it's very nice they wanna exhibit it anyway!
